If doors cannot be opened, and all conventional techniques fail to do so, the following steps should be followed:

  1. Lower the Pantograph
  2. Open the Bypass cabinet and unprepare the train by pressing the PB(UNPREPARE) pushbutton
  3. Instruct passengers via PA system to fully pull the EDR and push the doors open to evacuate the train
