If doors cannot be opened, and all conventional techniques fail to do so, the following steps should be followed:
- Lower the Pantograph
- Open the Bypass cabinet and unprepare the train by pressing the PB(UNPREPARE) pushbutton
- Instruct passengers via PA system to fully pull the EDR and push the doors open to evacuate the train
